-Artist's Thoughts-
Just wanted to go with a really cute dreamy concept that fits the aesthetics of the game these 2 characters and spirits were based off of, that game being MapleStory. I had a tough time trying to draw the characters. An art block if you will. Yet this piece still ends up among one of my current favourite pieces I've done. I like the overall mood of the piece and how everything ties in well together like as cohesive piece. The simplicity also really worked well here since there's a lot of things going on in the background as well as a lot of bright vibrant colours splashed here and there.
I think what I'm most pleased with is how the Arcana Spirits (the cute ghost spirits) ended up being a complete improvement from the last time I've gotten to work with them. They're looking quite close to the official art here and that excites me.
